What we do

Four focus areas.
One shared mission.

Every program we run falls within one of four areas where technology transforms lives.

Digital Inclusion

Digital Inclusion

Getting online shouldn't depend on your zip code.

Millions of Americans — in rural counties, inner cities, and low-income neighborhoods — still lack affordable internet access or the devices to use it. We place community technology hubs directly in those areas, providing free or low-cost access, devices, and the support to use them effectively.

Skills & Talent

Skills & Talent

Real skills for people the system left behind.

Being priced out of training is as much a barrier as being priced out of a device. We offer free and subsidized digital skills programs — from basic computer literacy to job-ready certifications — designed specifically for low-income adults, returning citizens, and communities historically excluded from the tech workforce.

AI & Innovation

AI & Innovation

AI that works for everyone — not just the well-funded.

AI is reshaping hiring, healthcare, credit, and housing — and underserved communities often bear the worst of its biases while having the least say in how it's built. We pilot responsible AI tools that address real needs in low-income communities, and we train community members to understand, use, and advocate around AI systems that affect their lives.

Policy & Governance

Policy & Governance

Closing the digital divide takes more than programs.

Individual programs can't fix systemic gaps. We work with city councils, state agencies, and federal policymakers to advance broadband equity legislation, digital rights protections, and funding frameworks that direct resources toward communities that need them most — not toward those who already have the loudest voice.

Voices from the field

What community members say.

I run a small cleaning business out of South Chicago. I couldn't afford bookkeeping software or a website. DiTi helped me get online, set up scheduling tools, and now I'm growing — without going into debt to get there.

M

Marcus T.

Small business owner, South Chicago, IL

We serve seniors in a low-income housing complex. Half of them had no way to access telehealth or government benefits online. DiTi brought devices and training right to our building — it changed what we could offer our residents.

R

Rosa Delgado

Community coordinator, East Los Angeles, CA

I was laid off and didn't know where to start with tech skills. The training program was free, flexible, and actually taught me things I could use on a job application the next week. I have a tech support role now.

“Technology should not be a luxury for the few.”

Across America, millions of people, small businesses, and community organizations are locked out of opportunities that everyone else takes for granted. We are here to change that.
